My purpose in drawing and painting is to create an image that contains a humanist touch, one that seeks to reveal the core connection between the subject and the artist. When I draw, I am deeply involved, letting my imagination flow freely, rendering something new and exciting. For me line is an expression of individuality which conveys both the risk and the spirit of growth.

As a freelance commercial artist I have done character development, product design, licensing, style guides, illustration, story boards and concept art. I work in both digital and traditional media.

Clients include Jim Henson and Nickelodeon, as well as other licenses. I have completed projects for music industry artists, Broadway productions and myriad product development companies. I truly feel lucky to work in a field that emphasizes positive thinking, surprising innovation, and great enjoyment. It is the work itself that matters, that defines being alive.
